A Blooming Bridal Party Luncheon

I am blessed with some super creative (not to mention loyal and wonderful) friends who are constantly flooring me with their gorgeous entertaining ideas. One such friend is my best friend since sixth grade, Katie. She has a knack for developing color schemes and implementing fun decor ideas, such as the pink and white puffs seen here
She recently hosted a bridal shower for her close friend, Meghan, at The Tasting Room in St. Augustine. The color palette included various shades of pink, coral, red, and orange, allowing for a gorgeously vivid tablescape.

Katie arranged peonies, carnations, baby's breath, roses, and an assortment of greens from The Fresh Market in mint julep cups purchased from Michael's several years ago. The centerpiece was a lantern purchased from Pottery Barn.
Each guest received a monogrammed napkin in shades of pink from Pier One and a plastic insulated Mason Jar tumbler that served as their place setting. I loved these ideas and definitely plan to steal this for my next soiree!

The delicious menu consisted of an artisan cheese platter with fresh seasonal fruit, baby spinach salad with ruby red grapefruit, and a choice of sandwiches ranging from a mozzarella, tomato, and basil pesto sandwich on sea salt focaccia to a hummus vegetable wrap. Dessert included petit fours and macaroons. Guests cheered the bride-to-be with mimosas and bellinis.
Amazing job, Katie! The attention to detail with the monogramming coupled with the beautiful color palette made this the perfect way to celebrate the bride-to-be!
