DIY: A Fabric-Wrapped Frame

When I saw this do-it-yourself tutorial on Fresh and Fun, I knew I had to try it. Countless projects have left me with leftover scraps of fabric that really do not have a purpose. I was thrilled to find a way to repurpose an old frame I found in my attic with these discarded scraps of fabric. It is, by far, the easiest DIY I've ever completed!

First, I cut my fabric into strips about 16 inches long and two inches wide. I cut about 10 strips, but only needed five to wrap the entire frame.

I used glue to attach the end of a strip to the back of the frame and wrapped it tightly around the frame. I went in no certain order, just kept wrapping until I reached the end.

Make sure to put glue at the corners because the fabric tends to slip there and the glue will hold it firmly in place. Then, voila! You're finished and you have a newly upcycled picture frame.

I can't decide where I'm going to put this or what I will use it for. Stay tuned for styled pics of where it finally ends up in my home!
