DIY: Twine-Wrapped Mason Jars

I think the best investment I have made recently is making twine-wrapped Mason jars. Mason jars are so inexpensive and easy to find, so I encourage you to buy as many as you can because they can be used for just about anything!

I bought twine from Jo-Ann Fabrics and hot glued one end to the jar while wrapping it around the circumference of the cylinder (there was no real science or technique to this, I just kept wrapping until I thought it looked good). Another dab of hot glue to the end of the twine and voila! twine-wrapped Mason jars.

These jars have been used at a Western-esque event as well as a nautical themed baby shower. They really fit any theme and are so easy to make. The twine adds some texture and visual interest to a flower arrangement. I think everything is in the details, so just this added touch of twine makes your event go the extra mile!
