DIY: An Outdoor Sitting Area

I recently purchased this sad-looking rattan outdoor sofa for $25.00 from a restaurant that was going out of business, and I knew that with a bit of TLC, it would look amazing on the outdoor patio of my client's home. He has a large patio area that leads to a gorgeous pool, so it's important that we create a number of seating areas for his guests when he entertains.

I originally wanted to reupholster the cushions in a funky blue and white trellis pattern, but that would require a lot of fabric (read: a lot of cash), so I just laundered the original navy blue slipcovers on the cushions and hung them to dry (for fear that my super powerful dryer would shrink them!)
I then spray painted the rattan with Krylon Gloss White paint. It took about eight cans of spray paint because of all the nooks and crannies, but it turned out looking fresh and clean. I purchased the yellow pillows for $10.00 each from Tuesday Morning, and I'm on the hunt for an outdoor rug with yellows, blues, and greens to tie everything together.
I love the way this sofa looks so inviting. I hope my client and his guests will be able to enjoy it immensely this summer!
