Hollywood Regency Style

I'm not a classically trained interior designer; I just believe I have a knack and love for putting together a look for a room that reflects the spirit and personality of the person or people living in that space. Over the years as I have developed my own sense of interior design style, I've realized I'm constantly drawn to the Hollywood Regency look of interior design.

This style is the epitome of effortless glamour. I see rooms decorated in this style and dreamily envision myself lounging on a lush, hot pink sofa sipping a sparkling glass of champagne. It's lavish, but not over the top. It's also a style that can blend seamlessly with other types of looks without looking out of place.

It is the one style that combines a number of elements of interior design that I love: mirrors, lucite, tufted upholstery, nailhead trim, and vibrant colors like turquoise, yellow, and pink. I'm absolutely in love with this style, and think everyone should have a little punch of it in their home. Whether it be a mirror above an entryway table or a brightly-colored, tufted ottoman serving as a coffee table in your living room, you can easily incorporate the Hollywood Regency style into your existing decor.
