Hippity Hoppity: A Peter Rabbit-Themed Baby Shower

I can't wait to share these party pictures with y'all! Our friend, Natalie, is expecting a baby boy in August. My girlfriends and I were thrilled to host a sweet Peter Rabbit-themed shower to honor her and her baby boy, Cameron Robert.

When we began to plan the shower, it became abundantly clear how many of us have a ton of party materials already. Together, we were able to host an entire shower without renting a thing!

We used green and white and blue and white seersucker runners on the tables and topped them with wooden boxes filled with fresh vegetables. A few trips to the farmer's market and placing the veggies here and there in the boxes helped us to craft these amazing arrangements. We were thrilled with the result!
I found mini tin watering cans at Tuesday Morning for about $6.00 and we filled these with baby's breath. Other flower arrangements (white carnations and white mums cut low) were placed in glass containers with cabbage leaves lined on the sides to hide the stems. It looked so cool!
The beautiful wreath with Cameron's monogram welcomed guests into the party.
My favorite detail of the shower was the adorable strings of carrots that were hung throughout the house. They definitely created the entire "Peter Rabbit" vibe, and the sign with his name spelled out is too cute!
Each guest was asked to bring a book instead of a card. Each book was inscribed with a note from the guest and placed on the bookshelf which was displayed on the gift table. These will add to Cameron's library and he'll have sweet notes from his parents' friends for years to come.
The food and drinks were delicious! Carrots and ranch dip (bunny food!), mini cupcakes, spinach dip, chocolate covered strawberries, chicken salad, fruit salad and shrimp orzo pasta kept all of us well-fed. The watermelon baby carriage that held the fruit salad was amazingly detailed! Mimosas (and tea and water for the pregnant ladies there) added the perfect touch of orange to the Peter Rabbit theme.
This was such a fun and easy shower to host, and I'm thrilled to meet Cameron in August!
